Eligibility Criteria For CIFRI Recruitment :
Educational Qualification :

For Lower Division Clerk : 12th class or equivalent qualification from recognized board or university. Typing Speed of 35 W.P.M in English or 30 W.P.M in Hindi on computer.

For Technical Assistant : Bachelor degree in agriculture/ Library Science/ Library & Information science or any other branch of science/ social Science/ relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Bachelor Degree of a recognized university in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject.

For Technician : Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board.

Nationality : Indian

Age Limit : (as on 31.01.2016)
For Lower Division Clerk : 27 years
For Technical Assistant & Technician : 30 years

Age Relaxation :
For OBC Candidates : 3 years
For SC/ST Candidates : 5 years
For PWD Candidates : 10 years

Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General/OBC have to pay Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft drawn in favour of ICAR Unit-CIFRI payable at Bareackpore. SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of fee.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with self attested copies  of relevant documents, two passport size photograph, two self addressed envelop & DD send to the Director, ICAR- Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore, Kolkata – 700120  West Bengal on or before 31.01.2016.
