Salary: INR Rs.25,000/- per month as per SERB-DST rules.

Education Requirements: The applicants should have consistent good academic record throughout with M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics with First class or equivalent grade from UGC recognized University/Institute.


Desirable Qualifications: Specialization in Experimental Laser Physics/Laser Spectroscopy/Materials Synthesis. NET/GATE qualified candidate will be given preference. A project fellow, with fellowship as per the SERB-DST guidelines, may be appointed in case of non-availability of NET/GATE qualified candidate.


Age Limit: The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years as on the day on which application is made. The upper age limit is relaxable to physically disabled, female and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the GOI rules.
