Name of the Post – Constable

Total Number of Vacancy – Total 1167 posts are vacant for the job of Constable

Educational qualification/ experience – Interested candidates for the post must pass out their 10th class from any recognized board. Contender must be citizen of India.

Salary/ pay scale – Selected Candidates will get the salary package of Rs. 5400 to 25200 with the grade pay of Rs. 2600 on monthly basis.

Age limit – Age of the candidate must be within the year of 18 to 27 as on 01 January 2015. Organization will provide the relaxation in the age of the reserved candidates.

Physical Eligibility – *Height (Minimum) – 160 cm for Female and 167 cm for Male Constable *Chest (Minimum) – 78 cm with min. expansion of 5 cm by inhalation *Weight (Minimum) – Weight should be according to the height of the Candidates.

Examination Fee – Candidates applying for the post have to pay 150 Rs. for application form and the Candidates belonging to West Bengal do not have to pay any application fee. (No exemption in fees for the Reserved Category candidates).

Mode of selection –  Selection will be made through the various phase of examination- Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test, Interview and then Medical Examination
