Post - Lower Division Clerk
Pay Scale: PB­1 Rs. 5200­ 20200 + G.P. 1900/­

Educational Requirements: 12th class pass or qualification from a recognized Board or University

Desirable Qualifications: Proficiency in Computer at a minimum speed 35 w.p.m. in English or 30

w.p.m. in Hindi. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions for each word)

General Instructions: 1. The post is Non­Government under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, which is an autonomous body and will be governed by New Pension Scheme 2004 introduced by Govt. of India with other service conditions mutatis­mutandis and as amended from time to time. 2. The post is temporary but likely to continue and transferable to anywhere in India in any of the Regional Station of CIAE/ICAR. 3. Maximum Age Limit: ­ 18­27 yrs. Upper age limit relaxation upto 5 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 years for Other

backward class (OBC) candidate and 10 years for Physically Handicapped. The upper age is also relaxable up to 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative(ministerial) category). 4. The Crucial date for determining the age limit is 1.1.2016. 5. Persons already in employment can send their advance copy but at the same time they have to ensure that through proper channel copy of his/her application forwarded by his office (complete in all respects)reaches Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering on or before due date failing which

his/her candidature for the post(s) concerned would be rejected. 6. The prescribed qualifications are minimum and enhanced qualification do not entitle candidates to be called for written test. Where the number of applications received in response to advertisement is large and it will not be convenient OR possible for the Institute to call for test to all candidates, the Director, CIAE, Bhopal reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates. After screening the applications the candidates may be called for written test. 7. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed proforma strictly typed/hand written. Candidates before applying for the post must satisfy that they are eligible to apply and fulfil the criteria/ essential Qualification/Age etc. prescribed for the post(s). If any information furnished by the candidates is found false at any stage his/her appointment will be cancelled. 8. Application form must accompany with a Bank Draft of Rs. 200/­ (SC/ST/Women and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted) drawn in favour of “ICAR UNIT – CIAE, Bhopal” payable at Bhopal, failing which the application will be rejected No other means of payment i.e. IPO/ money orders will be accepted. The date of bank draft should not be prior to the date of issue of the

advertisement and the same should be valid for a period of three months. Candidate must write his/her name on the back side of the Bank Draft. 9. No TA will be paid for appearing in Written Test Examination/Trade Test. However, unemployed SC/ST candidates who will be called for interview will only be paid IInd Class Train/Bus fare by the shortest route. 10. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/test/appointment. Canvassing/influence in any from will disqualify the candidate. 11. The candidates are required to declare the relative’s name of the employee’s, if any, working in CIAE/ICAR in the application form. 12. Name of the post for which applied must be clearly indicated on the envelope along with sender’s name and address. Sub­division of Chamba, Lahul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, last date for receipt is 40 days from date of publication. 15. Candidates in their own interest are advised to submit their applications well in time and before the last date to avoid possible delay in postal transit. Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay. Applications received after expiry of the last date will not be considered and entertained and no correspondence in this regard will be made. 16. The recruitment process will be the subject to the jurisdiction of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. 17. The Director, CIAE, Bhopal reserves the right to increase or decrease/s the number of posts without assigning reasons to cancel the recruitment to the post/s without assigning any reason thereof.
