Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy having its headquarter and registered office at Jaduguda Mines P.O., District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand. Companyis engaged in mining & processing of uranium ore and following IDA pattern of pay scales revised w.e.f. 01.01.2007.


UCIL invites applications from Indian citizens for the following posts required for its existing units in Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh and upcoming projects in India.

Qualification & Experience-   Essential Qualification & Experience:- Degree in Chemical Engineering./Metallurgical Engineering from a University/recognized Institution. Knowledge of Environmental compliance with the regulatory authorities. Desirable Qualification & Experience:- Post Graduate Degree in Mineral Dressing/Processing or equivalent from a University/recognized Institution. Experience in erection and commissioning of mineral processing and hydrometallurgical plants.

VVVF Drives, D.C. speed controls through thyristor converters and PLC, control systems, H.T. & L.T. motors, switchgears, operation and maintenance of EHV upto 132 KV switchyards and sub-stations or similar fields.

Scale of pay (Rs.)- (Purely on contract basis, initially for 01 year which may be extended at the discretion of the management, with A consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.25000/-, for UCIL TMPL.

Qualification & Experience    - Passed SSC or equivalent and Diploma in Fire Fighting/Fire Safety (02 years course) from a recognized  Institute/University with minimum 02 years relevant experience in fire services. Candidates should be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of Fire Engines, Fire Pumps and other fire fighting equipments. Preference will be given to the ndidates having Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and knowing Telugu language.

Besides Basic Pay and Dearness Allowance etc., selected candidates are eligible inter-alia subsidized accommodation, medical facility, children education facility etc. as per company’s rules.

Physical standards for the post of Fire Officer at Sl.No.13: No Deformity
Height : 165 cms.(minimum)

Weight : 50 Kgs(minimum)

Chest : 81 cms (normal)

Chest : 86 cms (expansion)

Vision : 6/6, without wearing glasses or any other aid.

Night or colour blindness shall be a disqualification. 
Terms & Conditions for the post of Diploma Trainee(Chemical).Duration of training for Diploma Trainee (Chemical) will be for a period of 01 (one) year. On satisfactory completion of training, the trainee may be absorbed as regular employee in the scale of pay of Rs.11510- 17930/- subject to vacancy. The selected candidate will have to execute a bond at the time of joining to serve the company for a period of 04(four) years after completion of successful training period on absorption.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
a) Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and ensure that he /she fulfills eligibility criteria of the post stated in the advertisement in all respects.

c) Candidates claiming to belong to any particular category of SC / ST / OBC(NCL) / PWD shall necessarily submit a copy of valid caste/medical certificate in a proforma prescribed by Govt. of India, as the case may be, from a Competent Authority. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the “creamy layer” are not entitled to apply against OBC (Non-creamy layer) category. Age relaxation to various categories will be given as per Government Directives.

d) Other things being equal, preference will be given to the candidates knowing Telugu language for the posts required for UCIL Tummalapalle (Andhra Pradesh). The Management reserves the right to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview or also to fill the posts even at lower level. Length of experience and age may be relaxed in case of exceptionally experienced and deserving candidates.
e) All qualifications should be full time and recognized from Indian University/ Institutions/Appropriate Statutory Authority.
f) The candidates working in Government Departments /Public Sector Undertakings should route their applications through proper channel.

g) Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed to & fro AC Ist Class Rail fare /Air fare (Economy Class) for the post at Sl.No.01, AC 2nd Class rail fare for the posts from Sl.No.02 to10 and Sleeper Class for Sl.No.11 & 13 (mail/express train only) , subject to production of proof of journey from their residence (as mentioned in the bio data) to the place of interview by the shortest route.

Applications received after the due date will neither be entertained nor returned. Incomplete applications will summarily be rejected and no correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates who has not been shortlisted/selected.
