North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2016 – Sports Quota Posts: Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur has published a notification for
the recruitment of Sports Quota (Group C) vacancies in the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format on or before
29-08-2016 for normal areas and 14-09-2016 for remote areas. Other details like age, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply are given

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2017. No age relaxation is permissible.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science & university Degree or its equivalent.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on written & assessment test.
Examination Fee: Candidates should have to pay of Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwD, Women, Minorities and EBC candidates) in the form of
Indian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favour of Senior Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, NE Railway, payable at Gorakhpur.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their duly filled application A-4 size paper in the prescribed format along with recent passport size
photograph, self attested copies of relevant certificates & envelope duly superscribing “Sports Quota 2016-17″ by ordinary post only to the Senior
Personnel Officer, RRC, North Eastern Railway, CCM Annexe Building, Railway Road No.14, Gorakhpur-273013 on or before 29-08-2016 for normal areas and
14-09-2016 for remote areas.

- Last Date for Receipt of Applications for Remote Areas: 14-09-2016 between 09:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
